Hello, and welcome to my world! I don’t know where you are in the world, but thanks for clicking into mine!

I live up here pretty much away from the land of humans with my wife, Doris, and our kids, Shadow and Cookie. (I should point out these kids happen to be cats.)

We live a quiet life up here in the mountains – far from the influence of the outside world.

I am a disabled Veteran, and my wife is retired, so we both try to live a quiet life off the grid, so to speak.

I’m just getting started with what I hope will be a weekly letter to the world from my desk. For now, we’ll just be keeping warm by the fire.
